About the event

We’re organizing an online Mock Interview event designed to help participants in our workforce development program gain confidence and improve their interview skills.

This interactive session will provide a safe and supportive space for our non-native English speaking participants to practice their skills with volunteer professionals and receive personalized feedback. It’s a great opportunity to prepare for real-world job interviews and strengthen communication skills.

What volunteers will do

Volunteer translators will play an important role in supporting participants who are English language learners during the online Mock Interview event. They will help facilitate clear communication between participants and interviewers, ensuring everyone can fully engage and benefit from the experience. 

Volunteer Requirements

Volunteers must be fluent in both Spanish and English to effectively facilitate communication between interviewers and participants during the mock interviews.

*Note: Volunteers for this opportunity are also required to maintain strict confidentiality regarding any information discussed during the interviews, as they will be assisting and supporting participants in a professional and respectful manner.
