Volunteer Instructor Opportunity – Latinx in Business
Are you passionate about supporting Latino entrepreneurs and sharing your expertise in finance and small business? Conexión Américas is seeking a bilingual (Spanish-English) professional to facilitate engaging classes for Latino entrepreneurs in Spanish.
This is a volunteer opportunity with a small stipend offered as a token of our appreciation for your time and expertise.

Ideal Volunteer Candidate Profile
Technical Experience:
-
Strong knowledge of the U.S. financial system and business financing options (loans, lines of credit, grants, microloans, competitions).

Ability to guide entrepreneurs in preparing for financing, interpreting financial statements, and building business credit.

Experience developing or advising on business plans and sustainable growth strategies.

Familiarity with digital tools for small business financial management.
Key Skills:

Fluent in Spanish with the ability to teach entirely in Spanish.

Able to explain complex financial concepts in a clear, approachable way.

Experience facilitating workshops, classes, or mentorship.

Culturally aware and sensitive to the challenges faced by Latino entrepreneurs.

Committed to strengthening economic prosperity within the Latino community.

Available for evening sessions, typically 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM.
