Conexión Américas is looking for individuals with diverse professional backgrounds that can meet with high school and college students who are part of Conexión Américas' College Access & Success programming. Our goal is to pair high school juniors, seniors, and college students with professionals in their areas of interest for the purpose of having 1-2 informational interviews lasting 30mins - 1hr. Meetings can happen virtually through zoom or in-person throughout the months of June and July (based on the student and volunteer availability). All in-person meetings would happen at Casa Azafran (2195 Nolensville Pike). This will be a 1-on-1 opportunity for professionals to share their experiences and help students learn about their field of interest. Volunteers may sign up to connect with 1-3 students (depending on availability). Once matches are made, volunteers must attend a 30mins introductory event before meeting with students (details pending). Professionals who identify as POC, immigrants and refugees, or first-generation college students are encouraged to participate, as well as those who are bilingual (Spanish, Arabic).  *DISCLAIMER: A match with students is not guaranteed. All matches will be made based on student interest and availability.
