Join Escalera students in the 11th and 12th grade for their Spring Break Career Day! Corporate and professional volunteers will take part in a mock interview rally where interviewees will be paired one-on-one with a few students. Students will let interviewers know if they are hoping to practice to interview for college or for a job. We especially seek that students are able to connect with, learn from, and see themselves reflected in the interviewers. Our students will be the first in their families to access post-secondary education, and the majority identify as Latinx, immigrant and students of color.

Mock interviews will occur 11:00am-12:00pm where volunteer will be given questions and guidelines to conduct the 'interviews'. The interview will then be followed by a brief chance to give the student feedback.
