Please join us for the exhibition opening of ‘I was. I am. I will be’ on April 20th, at 6pm. The art exhibition is a collection of artwork created by first-generation high school students of Conexión Américas’ Escalera college access program. This exhibition is a demonstration of individual expression, identity, and a promise of the future. The student will be selling their artwork at the opening and all purchases of student artwork will go directly to each student’s higher education fund. The Tennessee Art League, who has supported the exhibition process through providing workshops to the students on art creation, will also display and sell art through the exhibition and will generously donate 10% of the profits to the Conexión Américas’ Escalera program. The exhibition will be displayed in the Casa Azafrán Art Gallery from April 20-June 20.
